Hi, my name is Amy Neuenschwander. I am originally from Southeast Kansas, married for the past 17 years to my spouse Chad Neuenschwander. We recently moved here to beautiful Vero Beach for my husband’s job. We are very excited to be here and enjoy all that Vero and Florida has to offer for a healthy lifestyle. I have been in the medical field for the past 18 years as a medical assistant. My passion has always been to help take care of people and families.

At a very young age, unfortunately, my father was diagnosed with cancer. At that point I knew I had a passion for taking care of people. I started my journey in health care in Independence, KS working for a Family Medicine provider for 3 years. I then moved to Hesston, KS where I married my spouse and worked for more than 9 years in Family Medicine. We then moved to Fredonia, KS and I worked in Family Medicine as a MA for one year before transitioning into the Business Office Manager roll. Finally, my spouse’s job took us to Wichita, KS where I worked as a MA in an Endocrinology Office for 6 years until we moved to Vero Beach.

When I’m not working, I enjoy cooking, grilling, traveling, and walking the beach with my spouse and our dogs Bow and Briggs. I look forward to meeting you all at Island Health Concierge Medicine.
