What age group do you see?

Dr. Ilyadis is dual board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. Being dual board certified enables Dr. Ilyadis to treat patients of all ages from newborn to adults. Whether you are looking to optimize performance, treat a chronic condition, get a second opinion or get care for your entire family Dr. Ilyadis can help you. 

Do I need to keep my medical insurance?

Yes, although Island Health does not take medical insurance, you will still need insurance for specialty care, referrals and for emergency room visits. 

How much are your membership fees?

Island Health has a flexible approach to becoming a member. Membership fees can be paid annually, quarterly or monthly. Call or email the office to learn more about our membership plans. 

Will you bill my insurance?

Island Health Concierge Medicine is an out-of-network provider and does not participate in any insurance plans. Upon request, we can generate a billing receipt that can be submitted to your insurer for covered services such as physical exams, well-child visits, sick visits, and follow-ups.  Reimbursement for out-of-network providers varies from plan to plan. Please consult with a representative from your insurance company for your policy’s details.

Will you be in communication with my specialists?

Yes, Island Health will be in direct communication with your specialists serving as your point of care. Island Health will contact your specialists to coordinate your care. 

Will I need to wait to be seen? Are there same-day appointments available?

What makes Island Health Concierge Medicine a great solution is that you do not need to wait to be seen. Same day or next day appointments will be made available as ‘in office’ or ‘virtual’ visits. 

Do you make house calls?

House calls are made on a case-by-case basis. Arrangements for home visits are made based on what is medically appropriate. Limitations on house calls are based on distance from the Island Health office. 

Will I always get access to Dr. Ilyadis or will there be visits when I am only seen by a nurse or medical assistant?

You will only be seen by Dr. Latia Ilyadis, if she is on vacation you will be notified early about the covering physician
